Cozy up in a Cafe
This can sometimes be the best way to quench your thirst for a coffee and fill up your belly when your on the go and traveling. This is also personally one of my favorite ways to eat during the day when traveling through different European countries. You’ll find that you can try each culture’s own unique pastries, sandwiches, soups and specialty drinks at great, low prices.
Street food
Pretzels in Munich, paella in Valencia, gelato in Venice, tredlnik in Prague, kebabs in London, and the list goes on and on. Street food is the best food, hands down. You can find it in just about every big city you head to for beyond reasonable prices. Don’t forget to look up famous food markets in each place you’re in as well, you’d be surprised at what you can find!
Be supermarket savvy
This is by far one of the best options if you’re A. trying to save money, B. want to always have food when you’re on the go, and C. trying to immerse into your destination’s local culture. You can find local pastries that will just blow your mind (supermarket pastries in Latvia are absolutely legendary), locally cured meats, fresh produce as well as unique grocery store items catered to the country you’re in! Just imagine this scenario; you grab yourself a baguette, cheese, a bottle of red wine and make your way to the Eiffel Tower to have a #travelgoals worthy picnic.
