Running from class, to internships, to work study, the gym and trying to keep up a lively social life, it’s hard to get in a decent amount of fruits and veggies. Keep your body refreshed and fit by drinking a healthy smoothie a day!
It doesn’t have to be super time consuming or expensive; start out by heading to the nearest farmers market or other produce vendor that usually has a good deal on produce. If you don’t have anything near by, there’s always the grocery store of course. Buying fresh produce is usually cheaper than the frozen stuff, and also easier to portion!
Start by buying fruits and veggies that you can use in a variety of smoothie combinations and blend well together. Here’s your grocery list for the yummy combos I’ll be sharing with you:

The easiest way to make sure you’re always prepared to make a energy boosting smoothie is to prep! If you have a few extra minutes on a Sunday you can smoothie prep your fruit and veggies!
Use sandwich sized freezer bags and portion your smoothie combinations accordingly. Dice the fruit and veggies and separate them so they are ready to pop into your blender.
